SALADINI – Sabrage sword, handle made of fine buffalo horn

The sabre is an original way to open champagne bottles at all kinds of celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, inaugurations, etc.). A tradition dating back to the Napoleonic era, the sabre was used by French soldiers and officials to celebrate their many victories on the battlefield; this weapon was used to “decapitate” the necks of bottles using a method known as sabrage.
